Grrrr.....

So yesterday, I get a letter in the mail from the bank saying that since they couldn't verify Dave's employment or salary, they could not process our loan request.  The lady that was supposed to send us this documentation of verification hasn't.  Dave has called her and emailed her all to no avail.  It really irritates me when people aren't efficient and on top of things in their jobs.  Because she has dragged her feet all this time, we now have to start over with loan applications.  The only other loan worth doing at our bank would require us to lock in our rate today, and there's an application fee and a slightly higher interest rate.  So, this morning, I am going to spend my time on the phone talking to banks about their products.  Yea.

I'm annoyed.  With all that has gone on with the house and now this little snaffoo--I'm about ready to throw my hands up in the air.  But, I won't.  Why?

Because God is faithful.  He is good.  His mercies are new every morning.  His lovingkindess is better than life.  He is my hiding place.  He is my defender.  He is my deliverer.  He is my strength and my song.  He is the King of kings.  He is the Lord of lords.  He is the God who sees.  He is my ever present help in times of trouble.  He is love.

I'm going to, once again, spend my day pressing and pushing into that place of trust--that place where I can praise Him despite the advancing army.  He will protect me and cover me in the shadow of His wings.  Satan better look out.

i'm sorry!!  when it rains it pours.   i remember a solid week last summer, after we'd gotten a contract on our house and before we closed, that was absolutely AWFUL.  it was hotter than you know what, jack was 18 mos old and hitting the terrible 2's THAT WEEK, and i literally had to run all over town.  not fun, especially when gas was $3.50.  i remember just being thankful i wasn't pregnant!!  lol      there's nothing like selling and buying a house  :)     hang in there.  you know where God wants you, so He'll make it happen.

Yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, Amen!  I'm pressed but not crushed, persecuted, not abandoned, struck down, but not destroyed.  I'm blessed beyond the curse for His promise will endure.  And his joy's gonna be my strength.  Though the sorrow can last for the night, his joy comes in the morning!  A Derrly Evans song, that I really like!  I know what you are going through, I completely understand.  But it will happen  It will work out!

@mymeanderings - Things are better today.  I will post new things later today.  Please pray for Lucy's floor.  It is still damp, and we don't know for sure where the moisture is coming from.  I really don't want to have to cut open the wall to find out!  I'm praying that Dave's caulking job in the bathroom will have solved it.
